ABOUT THE CONTEST

The Year 2020 has emerged with Golden opportunities for Education Institutions of India to optimize their Ranking and Esteem Status in the field of Education specially in Art and Craft faculty.

We the group of Art enthusiast at Globebook has been organizing the National level Art Contest since over a decade and as we are not a company associated with any products related to school or education our approach has always been constant to encourage Art and Craft education among the generations. And because of our unbiased commitment in Art faculty we have been in the Research and development program of Ministry of Human Resource development since last 3 years for accruing the efforts made by education institutions in the subject of Art and Crafts and providing a report for rankings to the Department of Education for betterment of education and knowledge.

As said earlier the year 2020 is an opportunity for you to develop and enhance your institutional rankings, We the Globebook,  In association with MHRD – Department of School Education and Literacy – Govt. of India, feel Great Pleasure to invite your Institution and students of creative calibre to participate in Color Art Fest’s – “Challenge of Cities 2020” National Online Drawing Competition.

This Contest is schedule in Phases as per States. The Contest is Open for both Schools and Individual Registration from JANUARY 2020 with Phase 1 for First Round Entries from Major Cities of India. The Point System is only for Schools. Every Sucessful Registrations will get their Registration Number on Email within 24 hours along with 15 days to Submit their Artwork.

CRITERIA FOR ENROLMENT

It is Mandatory for the invitees Schools / Institutions and Individual Student’s to participate in the “Challenge of Cities 2020” – National Online Drawing Competition organized by Color Art Fest – Globebook, as the Invitations are only rendered as per the list provided by the Ministry of Human Resource and development – Government of India.

Following are the criterion for Enrolment of Invitee Institutions in this National Art Contest.

  1. Institutes / Art Teachers can pick their best students for the Contest & shall conduct the Contest in the School on given Theme within the prescribed dates given for the particular institution.

  1. Minimum 1 Student from 1 Group is Compulsory, more than required Participation are welcome.

  1. Institutions required to Pay Entry Fee of INR 500/- per Student while Registration for enrolment in the Contest. (Entry Fee can be paid by Institutions or By Parents of the Participating Students individually, as per mutual understanding .

  1. Bharat Ki Shaan Award… Register on or Before 15th May 2020 and Earn “Bharat Ki Shaan” Certification Award and Achieve 2 Ranking points to support our Mission = Abolish the Last Date Culture.

  1. All Teachers working as Art Faculties – Full time or Part time shall also Submit One Artwork each in the said Contest as Honorary Participants along with Declaration form according to the norms given in the following columns. Entry for Teachers are Free.

Note : – The Participating Students & Teachers Will Represent the School and the ideas portrayed in their Artworks will be considered as their own creative mental as well as it will represent the institutional calibre and contribution towards Art Faculties and shall may have direct or indirect influences on the rankings of the Institution in the field of Art Education Development and Growth.

1. Participants shall submit minimum one Drawing from given Topics.

2. Maximum two Drawings can be submitted on two different Topics.

3. Submission apart from given Topics will be Eliminated.

4. Drawing must be Hand Drawn (any Colour, any Style).

5. Paper Size: A3 Size or 11-inch X 17-inch Size of White Drawing Paper.

6. Artworks shall be Fresh, Original & must not be a Replica or a Copy of any artworks that has been submitted / Published on any Medium including Social Media before or after or at any other competition by the Participants / Parents / Teachers / Institutions without the prior Permission of the Organisation.

7. Judging & Grading of Artwork will be done on basis of Age, Subject, Idea, Drawing & Painting Style, Message & over all Presentation.

8. It is responsibility of the School / Student / Teacher / Parent to ensure that you are not breaking any local or international or copyright laws.

NOTE:

Participants must preserve their Original Artworks, to confirm the authenticity if required by the Organizers. All Finalist of CHALLENGE OF CITIES 2020 may have to submit Drawings of all 3 Rounds in Original at Mumbai.

How to Submit My Artwork?

1. Please take the printout of Registration Form and fill it correctly.

2. Participant / School must submit the Digital Image (Scan copy / Photograph) of Artwork & Registration Form with good resolution in PDF / JPEG format.

3. Rename the file name of Images in the Name of Participant. Example: Raghav Artwork, Raghav Registration Form

4. All Participants shall submit their Registration Form & Art Work as an Attachment on Email Address – submissions.coc@gmail.com

5. Subject Line of Email: ” Participant Name” – Registration Number. And Participant / School details shall be mention in compose area of the email.

6. Art Teacher must submit their onetime Artwork on Topic ‘ BEST OF MY CITY ‘ , Declaration Form & Annual Art Curriculum Digital Image (Scan copy / Photograph) with good resolution in PDF / JPEG format in Separate Email on Email Address submissions.coc@gmail.com and with Subject line – “ Teacher Artwork ”

 

NOTE: Sender will receive onetime auto reply email as a confirmation for their submission. If selected further in Second Round School / Participant will be informed through Email. list of selected participants will be upload at website.

CRITERIA FOR RANKINGS:

The Ranking will be given on scale of 1 to 15 Points. Minimum 9 Points is required to Qualify for the Ranking Digital Certificate and Journal. Following are the tasks where Institutions can achieve Ranking points.

1. Timely Action – Bharat Ki Shaan Reward – 2 Points. – Institutions can achieve 2 points easily for showing responsibilities by participating and completing the contest on Time, and spreading the Idea of ‘Timely Action’ among their Staff and Students and supporting the Cause of “Abolish the Last Date Culture”. Register on or Before 15th May 2020 to Earn “Bharat Ki Shaan” Certification Award and Achieve 2 Ranking points.

2. Qualified Teachers & Following Art Curriculum/Syllabus – 2 Point. – Institutions who has Qualified Teaching Staff in Art faculty and carries out Art Education as per the prescribed Syllabus of the Ministries of Education can achieve the said points easily to enhance their Rankings.

 3. Motivational Message from Principal / Head of Institution on “Importance of Art in Education” – 2 point. – Institutional Heads shall write a Motivational Article/Essay on “Importance of Art in Education” which shall be Published in the Ranking Journal and can help achieving 2 Ranking points for the Institution.

 4. Participation Criterion – 2 Points – Institution who successfully completes the Participation of Students as per Group prerequisites along with Art Teachers Honorary Participation Can Achieve upto 2 Ranking points.

5. Performance of Students – 7 points. – Participants achieving the Grades for their Artworks will be added as points for Ranking of Institutions.

RULES OF CONTEST:

1. CHALLENGE OF CITIES 2020 National Online Art Contest is open for all Indian students from Grade 1st to Grade 12th.

2. This Contest is schedule in Phases as per States / Cities. Every Sucessful Registrations will get their Registration Number on Email within 24 hours along with 15 days to Submit their Artwork.

3. The Contest Registration Opens from JANUARY 2020 with Phase 1 for First Round Entries from Major Cities of India. The First Round is always long and it will continue till SEPTEMBER 2020 or more. Best Entries will be Selected for Semi Final Round in Diwali Vacations & then Finalist for National in DECEMBER 2020.

4. Prizes & Certificate will be distributed only after Contest gets over.

5. For Registration Number & Submission Date Participant / School must pay the Entry Fee with any Online options first.

6. Entry Fee once paid will not be refunded in any condition.

7. Winners of the Contest will be declared by the Judges appointed by Globebook for all Four Groups & their decision will be final. Judging will be done on basis of Age, Subject, Idea, Drawing & Painting Style, Message & over all Presentation.

8. 1st Prize, 2nd Prize & 3rd Prize National Winner from each Group will achieve the National Winner title, Cash Rewards along with Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals & Certificate of Excellence. Five Consolations Prizes from each group will be rewarded with Cash Prize & Certificate of Merits.

9. All successful Submissions will receive Digital Certificate of Participation.

10. No Submission will be entertained if Participants fails to submit their artworks on given schedule & will be considered as disqualified from the Contest.

11. All participants are free to Draw, Paint, illustrate in any form or medium as stated. Artworks shall be Fresh, Original & must not be a Replica or a Copy of any artworks that has been submitted before or after by the participants at any other competition. Participants must preserve their Original Artworks.

It is responsibility of the School / Student / Teacher / Parent to ensure that you are not breaking any local or international or copyright laws.

12. The Organizer shall be Free to sue such material for any legitimate purpose as it may deem fit. All Artworks submitted are considered as properties of the Organizer & no claim shall be entertained by any participants for the artworks submitted at the contest. The Organizer is the sole Custodian of all the Artworks & has all the rights to Exhibit, Auction, Sale or Donate the Artworks at any point of time or reason there maybe. Globebook reserves all the rights to change, add or modify any rules & regulation at any point of time. You are requested to visit contest website for Terms & Condition & Updates.
